All you have to do to play is shuffle the mouse around to line up your shot, and then pull back and follow through, without any problems like slipping and missing the ball, or not being able to see straight. It's all worked out for you, with a handy 3D environment. Don't think that your gameplay is limited - you can spend hours changing your shot angles, and power levels, until you master that perfect shot!  So what happens if you have never played pool in your life, and as far as you are concerned a pool table is something that floats in your swimming pool?
