Does the words stale or the phrase "it always sounds the same" mean anything to you? I feel this two sayings perfectly wrap up this CD in a nutshell. I will not disagree that Michael W. Smith is not gifted but his songs consistently seem to only be very vertical and horizontal and that's the end of the line with Michael W. Smith. I would like to see him step out of the box a little more if he is going to stay in the Christian music industry.
