The Purest Place is the culmination of Watermark's journey over the past nine years. Worshipful and full of vibrant energy, The Purest Place draws on the group's roots as worship leaders to take listeners on an engaging and moving emotional journey. The title is an indication of where the band wants to find themselves - in the center of God's heart, the purest place.

Nathan and Christy Nockels married in 1995 and moved to Houston to lead worship at well-known Metro Bible Study at Houston's First Baptist Church. They later helped usher in the Passion movement as members of the Passion Band, and their contribution to Passion gatherings and recordings.

Since the duo's self-titled debut in 1998 they have enjoyed five #1 Christian radio singles and tours with Point of Grace, Ginny Owens and Fernando Ortega. Their three recordings have sold in excess of 300,000 units to date. In addition to their own work, Christy has been featured on recordings by Passion and the Girls of Grace project, while Nathan has established himself as an acclaimed producer for artists such as Point of Grace and Philips, Craig & Dean.

This new project, their fourth, showcases Christy's amazing voice and the duo's seasoned songwriting.
