Since winning American Idol in May 2007, Jordin Sparks has catapulted into pop stardom. At just 17 years old, she has quickly become a household name as the youngest winner in American Idol history!

Jordin has strong roots in the CBA; in 2004 she was named the Overall Spotlight Winner at the Gospel Music Association's Academy in Washington, D.C., and she took second place in the National Finals at GMA's Music in the Rockies. She also sang back up on Michael W. Smith's Christmas Tour in 2005 and 2006 and Michael continues to be an avid supporter.

In August 2007, Sparks' first single, "Tattoo," from her upcoming debut album caught on fire. "Tattoo" premiered on AOL in late August and streamed over 225,000 times in the first 24 hours, making it one of AOL's highest one day premiere numbers in years. Before officially impacting at Pop radio on 9/24, stations quickly jumped on board in late August with Top 5 phones at Z100 in New York and Top 40 play at KIIS in LA, KZZP in Phoenix, WXKS in Boston, WXXL in Orlando, KKRZ in Portland, KHKS in Dallas, KZHT in Salt Lake City, and KRQQ in Tuscon. "Tattoo" will release digitally on 9/24 and the video will impact on 10/1.

Jordin Sparks is already commanding media attention with her incredible vocal ability and stunning good looks. Over 100 press outlets have picked up her story, including Entertainment Weekly's PopWatch, MTV.com, The Hollywood Reporter, The New York Post and the Washington Post.
