An original member of Commissioned, Marvin Sapp is one of Gospel music's most recognizable voices to date. Now the pastor of Lighthouse Full Life Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Sapp has been blessed with a career that spans over 20 years.

In 2007, his fourth solo release, Thirsty, became a Gold Certified success, spurred on by the history-making lead single "Never Would Have Made It". "Never Would Have Made It" was named the longest running #1 single at radio across all genres, spending more that 40 weeks in the top spot. It was also voted as teh Top Song of 2008 across any genre by The Associated Press, and sole more than 1 million ringtones! Marvin's second single from Thirsty, "Praise Him In Advance" was in the top 10 for 41 weeks, making it all the way to #2.

Marvin's new release Here I Am is a live recording that showcases the raw vocal abilities of the "pastor who sings." The first single to be serviced to Gospel radio, "The Best In Me", is already being hailed as an inspirational classic.
