Mark Harris Closes 2006 With Top Download
Nashville, TN…January 17, 2007… INO Records’ Mark Harris ends 2006 with his first solo project and 2005 release “The Line Between The Two receiving critical acclaim and reaching No. 22 on Soundscan’s Christian/Gospel Digital Tracks Chart for 2006 with single, “Find Your Wings.

“Find Your Wings, the album’s hit radio single became an anthem receiving R&R’s Top Insp Song of 2006, Top 15 on R&R’s Top Christian AC songs, and stayed at No. 1 for 9 weeks on the INSP Chart and for 2 weeks on the AC Indicator Chart. The song’s popularity continued to grow in 2006, spurring the sales of Harris’ latest project to 99,965 units.

With the release of this single came a flood of letters praising the song. KSBJ Music Director Jim Beeler writes, “’Find Your Wings’ touches the heart and lights up the phone. That’s the definition of a hit. A fan exclaims, “[For] our oldest daughter’s wedding…it was the perfect song for my husband to walk his little girl to the altar area—not a dry eye to be found!

Media’s response to Mark Harris has been equally strong. Coverage thus far includes features in CCM, Stars & Stripes Military Paper, Dallas Morning News, and a guest appearance on Hour Of Power.

NASHVILLE, TN…January 11, 2007…As a result of the mass appeal for The Afters’ (INO/Simple/Columbia Records) hit song “Beautiful Love, Nielson Soundscan has named the song as the top downloaded song on the inspirational chart for 2006. This song resounded with audiences as it also received RIAA Gold Certification for Digital Sales in 2006. On the heels of this news and following a successful tour with tobyMac’s Winter WonderSlam, which placed the band in front of more than 30,000 fans, The Afters prepare for their sophomore effort set to release in the fall of this year.

Once again working with award winning producers Brown Bannister and Dan Muckala, The Afters are excited about the outlook for the band in 2007.

Last spring, “Beautiful Love was the theme song for MTV’s reality series “8th & Ocean, which spawned the single selling more than 90,000 digital tracks in a six-week period and over 189,000 in 2006. In addition, the song made its home on four major charts landing on the iTunes Top 100 Downloaded Songs for more than nine weeks peaking at No. 14, Billboard Hot 100 chart (peaked at No. 55), the Billboard Pop 100 (No. 43), and topping at No. 23 on the Billboard Hot Digital Songs.

Releasing their debut project “I Wish We All Could Win in 2005, The Afters received top attention from their fans and media outlets. The Afters’ music has appeared on the networks of MTV, mtvU, ABC Family, and E! News as well as on HOT AC and VH-1 radio along with outlets such as Billboard, BOP and Popstar. “Beautiful Love is not the only song from the debut album receiving national attention, as the track “Until the World has been the theme song for the ABC Family series “Beautiful People for two seasons. In addition, The Afters’ earned their first No. 1 R&R Christian CHR single with the Dove nominated, hit song “Beautiful Love.
