SANDI PATTY TO TAPE CHRISTMAS TV SPECIAL WITH THE U.S AIR FORCE RESERVE BAND Patty to Perform on NBC’s Live Broadcast of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Headlining a Special Christmas Tour

Nashville, Tenn., August 9, 2006…The most decorated Christian female artist of all times, an icon to say the least, is showing no signs of slowing down. INO recording artist Sandi Patty is back in the spotlight nearly a year since the release of her critically acclaimed Christmas album, “Yuletide Joy.”

Sponsored by the hunger relief organization, “Feed the Children, Patty will star in a Christmas TV special entitled, “A Salute to the Armed Forces, filmed at the Temple Square Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Syndicated nationally for cable and network television, the concert will include Patty performing the ‘National Anthem’, ‘Amazing Grace’, ‘Angels We Have Heard On High,’ and more along with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square accompanied by the U.S Air Force Reserve Band.

In addition Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, along with the state of Oklahoma, has asked Sandi to perform during the parade on November 23 in New York City. Sandi will be singing from the Oklahoma float and NBC will show her performance during the live televised event.

Following the parade, Patty will kick off her Christmas tour on November 25 with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra in Toledo, OH. Accompanied by local orchestras, Sandi will travel for four weeks, dazzling her audiences with what is promising to be a spectacular event. Eight out of the scheduled 17 performances will be with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore, MD.
