Caedmon’s Call, Share the Well (* * * ½) Christian bands often mimic popular mainstream sounds six months past, but the members of Caedmon’s Call combine their folk-rock leanings with lessons learned from missions to India, Ecuador and Brazil to create something truly distinctive. And where most American Christian acts come from a perspective of financial well-being, Caedmon’s writes from the perspective of impoverishment and, even better, of wealth humbled by the faith of poverty.
